When you are watching a boxing match,in between rounds you always see “the corner man” giving the boxer instructions. He is telling him either to stick and move,throw more lefts,go to the body etc. The corner man is the most important person the boxer has,because he can see everything that goes on in the fight. Its all up to the boxer to follow instructions. Not all corner man gives the right instructions,that is why you see boxers constantly changing their corner man. Corner man is also the person that tells the boxer not what he wants to hear,but what he NEEDS to hear. For instance, I remember watching a fight between “Sugar” Ray Leonard and Thomas”The Hit Man” Hearns. Both were champions in that division,the were fighting to unify the title. It was a great fight, but Hearns looked like he was taking it over. Then in Leonard’s corner you hear Angelo Dundee( Leonard’s corner man) telling him ” Your blowing it kid!”, Your blowing it kid”. Leonard when out there the next round, and TKO’d Hearns. The next fight that fight Leonard had was against Roberto Duran. Now Duran is a much harder puncher then Hearns. Angelo Dundee kept telling Leonard don’t stand toe to toe with him. But Leonard didn’t listen,and what happened? “Sugar” Ray Leonard lost his first fight. In the rematch against Duran,Leonard did listen. Guess what? He won! All the great champions have a good corner man. That is what separates the winners and the losers.

The same goes to people building a business. Whether it be Network Marketing,or a traditional business. You have to have someone “in your corner” telling you want you NEED to hear,not what you want to hear. Someone that will be with you thru ups and downs. Someone that will encourage you and help you bring out the greatness within you. Don’t just listen to anybody! Listen to people that has been successful. Someone that is where you want to be!

Surround yourself with as many of these people and you will have the success that you deserve!
